GENERAL CHARTER INFORMATION
Reel Ocean Adventures reef fishing and deep sea fishing charters will provide a fishing experience to suit your needs, whether its a half day experience or a full day of game fishing that you're looking for. You can use our tackle or bring your own equipment. Fishing charters are a great chance to hone your skills and get the most out of your fishing gear. Boarding the vessel is at our Tuncurry mooring on Rockpool Road. If needed (e.g. disability or wheel chair access), we hare happy to pick up at the Forster marina.
All of our charters include refreshments, light snacks and lunch. All charters are BYO alcohol.

Enjoy a full or half day out with skippers Phil and Noel. Our fishing charters have a few advantages over any other Charter Fishing businesses. Noel is a 4th generation fisherman in Forster/Tuncurry, with 48 years of ocean experience in the area. The vessel “Illusion” is also equipped with the latest technology with Furuno Maxsea 3D bottom mapping. This gives a real time life like display of the ocean floor as they are travelling and fishing to provide a state-of-the-art advantage in fishing. Our boat is the largest charter-fishing vessel in the area, with a deck area of 60 square metres.
Fishing charter capacity is 18 people. The vessel “Illusion” carries a licence for Charter fishing in all 4 categories. The vessel holds a recreational fishing licence exemption for it’s charter passengers.
DEEP SEA FISHING CHARTER
Fishing the deep water for bar cod, gemfish, pearl perch, snapper, kingfish and shark. This is done in water depths of up to 500 metres with all tackle and bait is supplied while on the charter. While on Illusion a Fisheries ishing licence is provided, so no need to for a general fishing license if you don’t have one.

REEF FISHING CHARTER
The best of charter boat fishing for the whole family!
Fish for snapper, morwong, flat head, teraglin, pearl perch, leather jackets, bonito, small tuna and common reef fish. It will be a great day on the water for those wanting to experience fishing for the first time in relatively calm water, and a truly life-changing experience for kids. Rods, reels spooled and bait are provided. A NSW fishing licence is provided whilst fishing on 'Illusion'.
All of our charters include refreshments, light snacks and lunch.

GAME FISHING CHARTER
Species targeted are Marlin between November and March and Tuna, Albacore, Sharks and Mahi Mahi (Dolphin Fish) all year round.
All of our game fishing charters include refreshments, light snacks and lunch.
