Size and presentation of the boat is something that is an advantage of our boat. The ‘Illusion’ is a 55 foot Conquest Custom vessel, which was designed by Sea Chrome Marine Designers Western Australia. These vessels have been designed and built as one of the most capable vessels on the ocean and used for Lobster Fishing, Tuna Fishing and many charter Vessels, due to their performance capabilities and ride comfort.
Our vessel carries a main deck space of 48 square metres which means that although we can carry 22 passengers and 3 crew, there is ample space for every passenger to enjoy every Charter/Cruise. This vessel has seating for every passenger on the deck, along with 2-day beds for the passengers who want to relax and take in the surroundings. The Cabin is air-conditioned and well set out with comfortable seating.
The ‘Illusion’ is equipped with class leading, state of the art 3D ocean floor mapping by Pescartus which is displayed on the 16” flat screen and visible from all three steer points on the vessel. This gives a real time 3D mapping of the ocean floor as the vessel moves through the water and every side of any rock or reef when anchored. The advantage of this technology is the skipper can anchor the boat in the exact spot he needs to so every passenger has the best possible chance to catch the desired fish they are after.
Personalised service is the focus aboard ‘ILLUSION’ as tours are limited to just 22 passengers per charter! This absolutely ensures an intimate and personal encounter. The boat can be hired for private functions to make it even more special and memorable.
Unsure with how you travel on the ocean? ‘ILLUSON’ is an extremely large stable commercial vessel with an exceptionally lower centre of gravity. This reduces pendulum effect (the swinging and swaying from side to side) ensuring a smooth comfortable ride for even those with the wobbliest of sea legs.
