ECO OCEAN CRUISES
Aboard the ‘ILLUSION’ we will take you on an unprecedented coastal journey along the edge of the Pacific Ocean in the Great Lakes area.
See amazing cave and cliff formation, learn about the beautiful turquoise colour of the Forster/ Tuncurry areas temperate waters with the chance to spot dolphins, albatross and other bird life, seals, or even whales on the yearly migration. Anything is possible and everyday brings the chance of a special experience. Our boat trips are tailored to those who want to be exposed to the ocean elements, who want to learn a little about the history and sea life of the local area, who share a passion for the marine environment and want to help give a bit back.
Eco cruise market has grown throughout the world as people become educated with the effects that humans have had on our oceans over time and the ways they can help to create sustainability for future generations, while learning about the local area from a perspective that many visitors would never get to experience, not to mention an appealing day out for families, community groups, schools and government organisations. In our Eco tours we will set out through the ocean mouth of Cape Hawke Harbour and give our passengers a cruise up or down the coast line and back, through the marine park to either Pacific Palms or Seal Rocks or Old Bar where they will learn about some of the history of the area, see the local dolphins play around the boat, also learning about the sea life and bird species that live in the area as we spot them around the boat. There will even be the opportunity to see some local seals.
SUNSET CRUISES
Picture yourself relaxing on a sunset cruise with THE BEST VIEW in Forster / Tuncurry, standing on the deck of our vessel ‘Illusion’ with a drink in your hand, enjoying some savory snacks, feeling the breeze blowing in your hair with the sun setting over Forster’s amazing beaches or waterways looking towards the lush mountains throwing out a glorious mix of colours into the sky above.
As you board our vessel, our friendly crew will greet you where you will be offered a non- alcoholic welcome drink. As we depart you will get to take in the magical views of some of the best waterways on the east coast of Australia as you soak in the magical views of the mountains and beaches once we head out through the Cape Hawke Harbour inlet to the ocean. Once out in the open ocean you will possibly see Bottlenose Dolphins cruise with the boat and/or play across the bow as you experience a view of Forster that some people only dream of while watching the sun go down across Forster and the surrounding mountains.
This will be a 2 to 3 hour ocean/lake cruise where our charter passengers will experience the beauty of a sunset from the ocean (or lake, depending on sea conditions). They will possibly see whales (seasonal) and dolphins and will be given a history of the area as they travel up and down the coastline.
This is a charter where passengers can BYO beer or wine and a plate of their liking to enjoy as they take in the beauty of a Forster/Tuncurry or Pacific Palms sunset while relaxing on our comfortable deck seating or daybeds.
Included will be a refreshment, tea and coffee and a light snack.

WHALE & DOLPHIN CRUISES
We're here to show folks just what an awesome destination Tuncurry and the surrounding sea can be! This beautiful, sparkling ocean area is perfect for whale watching tours and dolphin cruises. Whales are some of the rarest and most majestic mammals in the world. It's hard to explain the awesome feeling of seeing these graceful animals with your own eyes. When you're planning a romantic cruise for two or a dramatic day trip for the whole family, Reel Ocean Adventures should be at the top of the list.

THE DOLPHINS
Forster Tuncurry is home to a large number of Bottlenose Dolphins. Give yourself a treat and come and watch these amazing mammals play at the bow of the ‘Illusion’. On the vessel you are guaranteed of a front row seat on every cruise due to the size of our deck area, making this a memorable cruise.
THE WHALES
These majestic beasts are in greater numbers year on year, between May and November. We are so proud to be able to show them to you in a fun, friendly and truly memorable way on
our vessel! Whale watching with a sense of adventure as you travel on our vessel. ‘ILLUSION’ is limited to just 22 passengers, therefore offering you a very personal day out on the water, with clear views of these amazing animals. See spectacular breaching, tail slapping and have close encounters with the Humpback Whales. We will get you up close and personal with these giants of the sea and encounter pods of dolphins that are regular sightings along with many other sea animals.
The biggest advantage of whale watching on ‘ILLUSION’ is that you will always have that rail side position, ready for that perfect photo. ‘ILLUSION’ is an open deck vessel which allows full walk around access, where you can watch the dolphins and whales play.

We offer individual quotes to suit your needs for day or night cruises. We have had many party cruises, either catering for fishing or relaxing and enjoying a cruise with friends. We are more than happy to help you prepare a Party cruise. Party cruises can be catered by you or we can arrange catering of food. The cruise is BYO alcohol, we supply soft drinks and bottled water.

ASHES TO SEA CEREMONIES
SCATTERING OF ASHES
Scattering of your loved one’s ashes can be a beautiful celebration of life. Prior to the ceremony Phil or Noel will assist you, determining what you want. Where you would like the ashes scattered and how you would like the ceremony to run. These ceremonies can be formal or a relaxed time to celebrate your loved one’s life. On the day, you and your guests will be welcomed to the vessel at the scheduled time. All will be briefed on safety procedures and the way the ceremony will proceed. You are welcome to organise a celebrant/Priest to be on board or organise it yourself. The Vessel can be decorated, and music can be played through the external deck speakers or you can reflect in silence to farewell your loved one. The beauty is that you decide what happens.

NEW YEARS EVE CRUISE
Reel Ocean Adventures has a very special New Year’s Eve cruise which runs every year (weather permitting). The New Year’s Eve Cruise offers 22 people a relaxing atmosphere on the pristine
waterways of the Forster Tuncurry ocean or lake, with an unforgettable view of the Fireworks.
Enjoy BYO alcohol and a meal with a view, as we cruise in the afternoon before anchoring to watch the fireworks. Cruise starts and ends at our Tuncurry wharf but drop off at Forster marina is also possible.
